FRAN

April 30, 2009

Yesterday’s athletes showed some major courage in a time of panic. The Workout Of the Day, Fran, was thrown on the table and served up to anyone willing to take a bite and take a bite they did. Everyone participated in Fran; probably CrossFit’s most revered Workout Of the Day and some solid times were posted, congratulations to everybody that picked a fight with her as RX’d!!

FILTHY FIFTY

April 28, 2009
An outstanding uniqueness of CrossFit is the group workout. Rather than causing people to feel self conscious or produce some other negative effect, the group workout causes exactly what has been occuring at CrossFit Cache Valley. We get better performance out of each and every athlete. I am thrilled to see everyone cheering each other on and encouraging one another- it is truly to your benefit. Keep up the awesome work!

GRIFF

April 23, 2009

For those of you who do not know…  Crossfit is quickly becoming “the training” program for all Military and Law Enforcement establishments.  Since day one CrossFit has embraced our men and women in uniform and they have chosen (rightly so) to honor the Hero’s who gave their lives to keep us and our country safe.

In honor of USAF SSgt Travis L. Griffin, 28, who was killed April 3, 2008 in the Rasheed district of Baghdad by an IED strike to his vehicle. Travis is survived by his son Elijah.

I would like to say THANK YOU to all those who have chosen to lay your life on the line to Protect and to Serve us.
